As the Vancouver Canucks scour the trade market for some help on forward, some new information has come out about players they're interested in, as well as players they are no longer in the mix for.

During the latest episode of 'Donnie & Dhali', Rick Dhaliwal revealed that the Vancouver Canucks are "poking around" on Arizona Coyotes forward Jason Zucker, but the ask to acquire him is reportedly high.

"3 weeks ago I was told they don't have interest in him but early this morning I found out they're poking around on Zucker...The ask is pretty high." Dhaliwal said.

Zucker, 32, signed with the Arizona Coyotes last summer after becoming an unrestricted free agent and could be a solid bottom-six option for the Canucks, but they'll need part of his $5.3 million salary to be retained in order to make a trade possible.

In 51 games this season, Zucker has put up 25 points (nine goals, 16 assists), 58 penalty minutes and is a minus-five.

While Zucker may be an option for the Canucks, it seems more likely that he'll be a backup option if Patrik Allvin loses out on a player like Pavel Buchnevich or even Jake Guentzel.

Per the Coyotes PR, Zucker had been made an healthy scratch until further notice for trade related reasons. Whether he will be a Canuck or not has yet to be determined, but it would be extremely surprising if he didn't change adresses.

Do you think the Canucks should trade with the Arizona Coyotes to bring in Jason Zucker? Let us know what you think in the poll below.
