The Canucks have been winless in their three latest starts and they'll be looking to shake things up as they meet with the Seattle Kraken later on.
Today, the Canucks announced bad news for two players and confirmed that a young prospect has been recalled to the big leagues. As per the Canucks statement, Soucy is headed to the Long Term Injury Reserve, while Dakota Joshua has been placed on the Injury Reserve. Jett Woo on his end, has been recalled for a second time this season:
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today the following roster moves:
- F Dakota Joshua placed on retroactive injured reserve - D Carson Soucy placed on retroactive LTIR - D Jett Woo recalled from Abbotsford (AHL)
In need of a shake up, it wouldn't be surprising if Tocchet decided to put Woo in the line-up to replace of his defensemen.
Joshua was meant to be week-to-week, there's no update since then. Same goes for Soucy. The most recent roster changes may indicate that they'll be out of business for a longer period of time.
