NHL makes an announcement regarding the Canucks and the playoffs
The Canucks will be making them into the playoffs for the first time since 2019-2020, when the NHL held their bubble playoffs.
The team has been trying to capture the highest honours in the Stanley Cup since they last made their Playoffs Final appearance in 2011 when the team was led by Hall of Famers such as the Sedins and Roberto Luongo.
The NHL issued a post announcing that the playoffs would be starting on April 22 April20hey also joined a tribute video of the Canucks' success during the spring dance. To it, they linked the ultimate question, will be the Canucks?
Will it be the @Canucks?
The #StanleyCup Playoffs begin April 2April 20tats
The league's standings still have to be finalized, as a few teams still have games on their calendar. The Canucks will close their regular season on the 18th,
the point at which we should know the team's first-round opponent.
The Canucks have exploded under Rick Tocchet, they were the NHL's top team up until the All-Star Break, an incredible change of pace compared to the 2022-2023 season where they finished 22nd. The top team in the Pacific could still lock the Western Conference depending on how they and the Stars perform in their last games.
