Some center options have begun to emerge for Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin to consider on the free agent market starting July 1st.

Leading up to the National Hockey League's trade deadline, the Vancouver Canucks were looking for looking for more help down the middle to help solidify their center depth.
Ultimately, the team stood pat at the deadline, going with Elias Pettersson and Filip Chytil as their 1C and 2C, respectively, up until their injuries sustained in late March.

Center options emerge for Vancouver Canucks to consider

There's no question that leading up to Canada Day, when the National Hockey League's free agent period opens, Patrik Allvin's priority is going to be to find help down the middle, particularly in that 2C hole.
No disrespect to Filip Chytil, but do to his injury issues, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to go into next season expecting him to be the Canucks' number two centerman, which makes it even more of pressing need to address this summer.
Rob Williams of Daily Hive took a look at nine different options for the Vancouver Canucks to consider for their second line center role and there's some intriguing names that could be available.
Undoubtedly, the biggest name is Sam Bennett, currently of the Florida Panthers, who will be a hot commodity when the free agent market opens at 9 am PT on July 1st.
Aside from Sam Bennett, Rob Williams mentions two-time Stanley Cup champion Yanni Gourde, Jack Roslovic and Matt Duchene as potential options for Patrik Allvin.
"A two-way centre, Yanni Gourde can help a team in a number of ways. Gourde can be used on the penalty kill and as a matchup centre at five-on-five, plus he has the experience of winning two Stanley Cups with the Tampa Bay Lightning." Williams said.

The Vancouver Canucks are expected to have a little over $14 million available in cap space this summer, but have some big decisions to make with pending UFAs Brock Boeser and Pius Suter before they consider going out and making a big splash.
