Fans in Vancouver know how important J.T. Miller is to not only the Canucks organization, but the city in general.
The 31-year-old plays with his heart on his sleeve and every single game, gives 100 percent effort, trying to do whatever it takes to help the Vancouver Canucks get the two points.
On Saturday night, the WWE's Survivor Series: War Games, rolled into Vancouver's Rogers Arena with well-known names such as CM Punk and Roman Reigns among those who participated.
According to Steve Ewen of The Province, it was the biggest WWE event held at Rogers Arena (formerly known as General Motors Place) since December 1998.
During the event, thousands of fans in attendance at Rogers Arena began a 'J.T. Miller' chant in support of the forward who is still away from the team on a leave of absence for personal reasons.
It was certainly a heartwarming moment to see as the fans truly care about J.T. Miller and they know that he cares about them and the organization too.
Miller stepped away for personal reasons back on November 19th and there isn't a timetable for his return to the club, despite some reports suggesting he could be back when the Canucks are home from their six-game road trip.
The most important thing right now is that Miller is doing well, spending time with his family and taking the time to step back and take a breath. The Canucks will be here for him no matter what.
Whenever J.T. Miller returns to the Canucks, it's going to be a massive boost to the club both from a morale standpoint, but also performance-wise too, because we all know what he's capable of and what he brings to the team.
