It is going to be a tough test as the Boston Bruins are looking to win their 3rd consecutive game under new head coach Joe Sacco, who took over the interim title after the team announced the firing of Jim Montgomery.
The Canucks are coming off a big "adversity" win against the Ottawa Senators on their first game of the road trip a few days ago.
Now, their chances increase even more as head coach Rick Tocchet announced that Brock Boeser will be making his return to the lineup.
Boeser has been sidelined with a head injury since November 8th when hit with a dangerous to the head by Los Angeles Kings forward Tanner Jeannot.
Having Brock Boeser is a major addition to have back, as Rick Tocchet has been having to shuffle around the lines to fill the hole left by him and J.T. Miller.
Conor Garland spoke after morning skate this morning to talk about what it means having Brock Boeser back with with the team.
After being one of the Canucks MVP's for the season so far, the Canucks are giving the nod back to Kevin Lankinen for tonight's challenge against the Bruins.

Other than getting Boeser back, the biggest narrative coming into this game is Jake DeBrusk facing off against the Boston bruins for the first time since leaving them in the offseason.
He was demanding too much money for Boston wanting to resign him, but the Canucks gave him the big deal and is no proving to everyone involved why he is worth it.
