After missing the last seven games with an upper-body injury, Brock Boeser will make his return to the lineup on Tuesday as the Vancouver Canucks take on the Boston Bruins.

Boeser was hit in the head by Tanner Jeannot on November 7, earning Jeannot a 3 game suspension, and hasn't played since.

Head Coach Rick Tocchet says the player has been officially cleared and Boeser will be a strong addition as they ready themselves for a strong defensive opponent.

Always known as a good, structured defensive team that plays a team game, so when you can add a guy like a Brock Boeser who doesn't need a lot of chance to score, it helps.

Sasson comes out after solid debut

Coming out to make room for Brock Boeser is 24 year old center Max Sasson, who played his first NHL game on the weekend and added an assist.

Tocchet told reporters that it wasn't an easy decision to make, but is encouraging the young forward to stay ready.

He doesn't really deserve to come out, I thought he played a really good game, but the message to him is he could go in next game against Pittsburgh... and he played a really good game for us.

The Canucks take on the Bruins in Boston at 7PM EST or 4PM PST on Tuesday night.
