Vancouver Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet has announced some significant lineup changes for tonight's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
With the Vancouver Canucks suffering another bad loss for the second time in 3 games to the 7-6-4 New York Islanders, it was made abundantly clear by head coach Rick Tocchet that these kind of performances are not going to be tolerated and that there would big changes coming to the lineup.
"We just can't play like this at home. It's not acceptable."
Tocchet came out in the post game press conference to apologize to the Vancouver fans for paying money to watch them lose and play subpar hockey.
"It's a frustrating situation because the fans are [paying] $200, $300, $400 and we're throwing out duds," Tocchet said.
He added, "I apologize to the fans again. We've got to correct this."
