Vancouver Canucks Linus Karlsson Ties Franchise Points Record in the AHL

Abbotsford Canucks forward Linus Karlsson has just tied the AHL franchise record for all-time points.

There have not been many positive stories coming out of the Vancouver Canucks franchise in the last little while, so when news came out that Linus Karlsson of the AHL Abbotsford Canucks tied the franchise record in points,

In the first game 2025 for the AHL affiliate, Karlsson tied Sheldon Dries for the most points in organization history as apart of the Abbotsford Canucks.

Karlsson achieved his 118th point with the effort of a two-assist performance while Abbotsford lost 4-2 to the Calgary Wranglers.

Karlsson has spent his entire 141-game AHL career with the Canucks organization, scoring 53 goals and adding 65 assists over the last three seasons.

The 25-year-old forward was drafted 87th overall in the 3rd-round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks, but never playing a second ice-time within the organization.

Over his three year professional hockey career, all with the Canucks, he has only appeared in 6 career NHL games, two of which came this season and scoring no points.
