The Vancouver Canucks are still winless three games into the season, and it is clear on the body language and comments made by head coach Rick Tocchet that the team is no where near ready to play.
A major narrative heading into the season was if the Canucks could battle the adversity of being legitimate Stanley Cup contenders and having the pressure that comes along with it, but now, the the season has started off this way, the are really going to need to dig deep.
Head Coach Rick Tocchet Sounds Off after 3rd straight loss.
«We weren't ready to play in the first period,» Tocchet told reporters. «I didn't think we won a battle. In the second and third, we had some chances but didn't bury them, and you can't give a team like that a two-goal lead.»
«We just need some guys to pick it up.»
Cleary the frustration is mounting for everyone on the team, especially Rich Tocchet, but at a certain points making continues changes is doing no good, they need to work with the players they have so they can build chemistry.
