SIGNING ALERT | Last minute announcement regarding twenty-four-year-old forward Maxime Comtois
The Vegas Golden Knights are reportedly going to be dipping into the professional tryout market.
According to reports, the Golden Knights will be signing 24-year-old forward Maxime Comtois to a PTO, which will see him join the team for training camp and pre-season games later this month.
Comtois, a native of Longueuil, Quebec, was set to become a restricted free agent this summer, but the Anaheim Ducks decided not to issue him a qualifying offer, which made him an unrestricted free agent on July 1st.
In 210 career games, all with the Anaheim Ducks, Comtois has 86 points (38 goals, 48 assists), 193 penalty minutes and is a minus-35.
