LATEST | An announcement has been made regarding a Canucks' prospect: He's been awarded the fight of the year
The game of hockey is constantly evolving and with the players' safety and health as the top priority, fighting has slowly been dying. Junior league's have gradually started to eliminate it and the professional levels may be next.
Let's not look to far ahead as it's still part of the game and still gives a heck of a thrill especially when emotions are at their highest. HockeyFights a popular group in most social media platforms are mainly known since they post every fight that happens at the game's best level.
With the 2022-2023 season concluding, they've chosen the top fight of the latest season and the triumphant victory of Alex Kannok Leipert over Alex Gallant made its way to the top. The Abbotsford Canucks and the Calgary Wranglers were involved in a spirited tilt and the two players ended up dropping the mitts, here's the fight:
Kannok Leipert will be back with the Abbotsford Canucks again this year.
