In a scary Scene during the St. Louis Blues and Tampa Bay Lighting matchup this evening, 23-year-old center, Dylan Holloway was stretched off the home bench after suffering a "medical incident".

There has not been many updates or details on what exactly is occurring with the young forward, but reports all indicate he started to show symptoms that required immediate and emergency care, he then was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

The play that seemed to have caused all of this seemed to be fairly innocent, as Holloway bolted down the ice after blocking a shot. But everything changed once he got back tot he Blues bench, where horrifically he had collapsed. Lighting and Blues plyers surrounding the bench as medical staff attended to him and attempting to carry him off until they were able to access him via stretcher.

Andy Strickland provided an update that while Holloway is enroute to the hospital, he seemed to be alert and stable.

«Dylan is alert and in stable condition. He is being transported to the hospital for continued monitoring and further evaluation»

Doctors told the team, that after Holloway was struck in the neck with the puck, it took some time for the swelling to build up, once it did, it started to obstruct his airway. Since he arrived at the hospital, they been able to treat him and take the swelling down where he can now breathe normally. He will stay overnight in the hospital so he can continue to be monitored.

No matter what team you cheer for, everyone here at Canucks Daily would like everyone to send their prayers to Dylan Holloway during this extremely scary time.
