BREAKING | Carter Hart is getting traded: The Frontrunners have emerged
Daniel Briere (Flyers' GM) made quite the splash today when the Flyers announced a massive three-way deal with the Kings and the Blue Jackets.
As reported, the next piece out appears to be Carter Hart. The star and young netminder had been involved in previous rumors, and now the Flyers are looking to cash in big on their cornerstone piece.
One team that desperately needs help between the pipes, the Edmonton Oilers, is a team to watch, according to Jamey Baskow, a Flyers writer:
As of right now, there are no hypotheses on what the return may be. However, a 24-year-old top-end goaltender isn't going to pay for cheap, but it's a price the Oilers should be ready to pay.
The Flyers have shown their colors and have decided to go for the full rebuild. The oilers have a few decent prospects they could send the other way; perhaps matched with a 1st Round Pick, it could be enough?
