With their OT win against the Hurricanes, the Bruins have broken the record for most wins at home to start a season. Still undefeated in the iconic TD Garden, the Bruins now have 12 straight wins on home soil which is now a new NHL record. The record was previously by the Panthers that tied the mark established by the Chicago Blackhawks in 1964!

David Pastrnak scored off a wild one-timer, fed by Brad Marchand after the Hurricanes had taken a penalty in the overtime period.

Pastrnak is one of the reasons the Bruins are dominating the NHL as of right now. The Czech forward scored his 14th goal of the season and registered is 31st point, good for 2nd in the NHL tied with Leon Draisaitl and Jason Robertson.

The B's stand is strong at no. 1 in the league with an impecable 18-3-0 record after the first quarter. Vegas (16-4-1) and New Jersey (16-4) are the closest team at this point.

The Bruins will eventually visit the Canucks on February 25th 2023!
