Breaking News: Jakob Chychrun Will NOT Be Traded At NHL Trade Deadline Per Elliotte Friedman
Breaking news revealed by Sportsnet's hockey insider Elliotte Friedman, during Friedman's 32 thoughts podcast. Friedman would drop a bombshell of announcement just eight days ahead of the NHL's trade deadline day.
That was that the Arizona Coyotes defenceman Jakob Chychrun will NOT be traded ahead of the trade deadline.

"Elliotte Friedman was on Jeff Marek's 32 thoughts radio show and stated that Jakob Chychrun has returned to practice with the Yotes and that he talked to an NHL executive who told him that Chychrun will NOT be traded."
"Friedman went on to say in his radio hit that the Boston Bruins are out of the Chychrun sweepstakes and if a team will make a trade for Chychrun, it will be one of the St. Louis Blues, LA Kings, Columbus Blue Jackets or Winnipeg Jets."
Chychrun requested a trade over frustrations on the organization's constant rebuild. The 24-year-old is just entering his prime and doesn't want to end up like so many Coyotes players before him who never got to play important playoff games or have a chance at the Stanley Cup. Let's hope Chychrun can finally gets a trade this off-season and can finally look forward to play on a team that has winning in mind.
