CRAZY RUMOR: Canucks could become trade partners with the Wild
It only pop-upped now, but the Wild and the Canucks could potentially be trade partners.
Brock Boeser is a healthy scratch tonight and it raised a lot of suspicion. The forward had 14 points in 18 games, yet he's still the one to be held out of the lineup tonight, why?
The rumor suggests that Boeser would pack his bags and head to Minnessota in return for defenseman Matt Dumba.
That makes a lot of sense for multiple reasons:
1. Dumba would be a perfect match to play on Hughes' right side;
2. Calen Addison has played great since his debut, making Dumba expendable;
3. Boeser carries a $6.65M AAV until 2025 while Dumba's AAV is $6.00M until the end of the current season, potentially making cap room for Horvat's new deal.
What are your thoughts on this?
