Fans Screaming Scandal Over Injustice
It's been on everyone's lips for the last 12 hours: Roberto Luongo will be in the 2023-2024 Canucks' ring of honour.
Some were pleased, but most were outraged since they see no reason for the no. 1 not to go in the rafters after his stellar career.
Luongo didn't seem to bother much:
"That's not up to me to decide, but either way it's a tremendous honour"
The true question regarding the matter still stands, what could he have done more after being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, to be worthy of a place in the Rogers Arena's ceiling?
In other tweets, it was regarded that Luongo honouring may have been a distraction from Rachel Doerrie's lawsuit?
The Canucks probably should intervene before it gets out of hand, it's appearing as if it was never planned to induce Luongo in the ring of honour.
