When it comes to the Vancouver Canucks, they have been spoiled with some of the best players of all time. Players like Pavel Bure, Alex Mogilny, the Sedin twins and of course one of the all time favorite Markus Näslund.
The former captain became an NHL star as a member of the Canucks, playing 12 season's there. But Näslund was almost traded back in 1998.
Näslund would reveal when Brian Burke was the General Manager of the Canucks, Burke considered trading Näslund to the Washington Capitals for a 3rd round pick.
Thankfully that trade never came to fruition because it would of been quite possibly the worst trade in Canucks history.
