HOT: Antoine Roussel makes revelation regarding Horvat's intentions
The rumours concerning Horvat's intentions are everywhere and coming from everyone, especially since it's been announced that he has rejected the latest offer from the Canucks.
Lately, things have not been going the Canucks' way and it would be reasonable, after two offers, to think that they'd be ready to move on from their current team captain.
Former Canucks forward Antoine Roussel was on the radio earlier this week and made intriguing revelation regarding Horvat's intentions moving forward. Not only would he like to move to a contender for a chance at a cup run, but he would enjoy an environment where he doesn't have all the pressure.
"In an environment where he wouldn't necessarily have all the pressure on his shoulders, he might perform even better."
Roussel spent three years with the Canucks and shared some time on a line with Horvat. Safe to say that he knows the guy and the new management group has not handled Horvat really well since coming in as they preferred to extend Miller first. Even though we'd prefer to stay optimistic and hope that he re-signs with club, realistically speaking, it's less and less likely to happen.
