Kraken and Canucks: Trade partners?
After a successful road trip, the Canucks have been struggling at home. Since the season's debut hasn't been as good as anticipated people have started to think about players that could fetch high returns once comes the deadline.
Right Handed defensemen Luke Schenn is one player that could easily be traded. Has experience, bring physicality, depth and leadership to a D-Core. Would be a great addition to any team willing to win a few games in the playoffs.
He carries a low $0.85M AAV until the end of the year and could potentially fetch a similar return to what the Canadiens had when they traded Brett Kulak (2nd and 7th round pick) at last year's deadline.
The Kraken have been highly surprising, they presently show a 15-5-3 record which is excellent for a 2nd year expansion team. They could try and have a deep run into the playoffs if things kept going this way.
