Earlier this week, former Vancouver Canucks Head Coach Travis Green was on Calgary's radar for their vacancy, but now it appears that he's also linked to another team's opening.

While the NHL Network on Thursday, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman revealed that Green was among five names that are in the mix for the Head Coaching gig for the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Elliotte Friedman on NHL Network reports Columbus' coaching search is 'some combination' of Peter Laviolette, Mike Babcock, Kirk Muller, Travis Greene, and Andrew Brunette.

Green, 52, was fired just over a month into his fifth season with the Vancouver Canucks and only helped them to one playoff appearance which came in 2020, where they lost to the Vegas Golden Knights in seven games in the second round.

In 314 games coached, Green has a record of 133-147-34. His 133 wins has him in fifth-place on the Canucks' all-time coaching wins list, only behind Pat Quinn, Harry Neale, Marc Crawford and Alain Vigneault.
