Since retiring from hockey, former NHL agitator Matthew Barnaby has been very outspoken about various topics around the league and has even gone to Twitter to share his takes.

On Sunday morning, Barnaby decided to weigh in on the Canucks' coaching situation and he some positive words for Head Coach Rick Tocchet.

"Coaches can make a team or break a team at any level. Trust me there are some bad ones. A great one is Rick Tocchet. He is going to change the culture and turn @Canucks into a Winner" Barnaby said.

While the majority of the fanbase wanted Bruce Boudreau to remain behind the Canucks bench, the organization may have made the right decision to bring in Rick Tocchet and he's shown that he wants to bring the team back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs and for them to become a consistent team once again, like they were in the early 2010s.

The Canucks have a lot of work to do off the ice this summer at the draft, as well as in free agency and Patrik Allvin will do all he can to provide Tocchet with the players he needs to reach the pinnacle of hockey and eventually lift the Stanley Cup.
