LATEST | Miller gives his thoughts on the team's new direction and coaching staff
The Canucks and J.T. Miller have taken a whole new direction since Rick Tocchet took over the bench and we're starting to see the results of it.
J.T. Miller was given the opportunity to speak his mind on the team's recent success and the way they've handled their game. Miller has really improved his game and has become a real threat when matched to Elias Pettersson on the penalty kill, here's what he had to say on the subject:
"Our game is coming together as a group. It's a process to try to build our identity as a team and we're trying to find one."
Miller's comments truly express positivity and even though this season will be used for teaching and progression, it gives us hope for next season. Miller has been a true force in the latest bit, he currently has 10 points in his last 10 games and will be looking to increase it tonight when they host Ottawa.
On what could be considered a underperforming season, he still even managed 58 points in 63 games so far.
