The injuries have taken over the Canucks' blueline, Ekman-Larsson, Juulsen and now Wolanin are all out of the lineup for medical reasons.

The Canucks recalled Jack Rathbone to fill the open void on the team's left side and Tocchet confirmed that Juulsen would most likely be out of work for the remainder of the calendar.

However, it's really Noah Juulsen's absence that actually worries the most. Juulsen was injured before the Stars' game and Rick Tocchet revealed information that's not

''He's week-to-week, he's not going to be here for a while, it's like I said he's week-to-week.''

Tocchet wasn't really reassuring when he was asked about the possibility of seeing him again this season.

Juulsen's injury surely comes at a difficult time for the Canucks since, as pointed out by Tocchet, he's Quinn Hughes' preferred pair-up guy. On the other hand, Adam Foote may have no other choice than to match Filip Hronek to Quinn Hughes when the team plays the Stars in Dallas on Saturday.

The Canucks medical staff will have its hands full heading into the off-season, Noah Juulsen will be an RFA on July 1st, but with Tocchet's optimism, it wouldn't come off as a surprise if they were to offer him an extension.
