MAJOR | Twelve years NHL veterans will be scratched tonight
We've seen it earlier this year when Bruce Boudreau took it upon himself to send Oliver Ekman-Larson to the stands. Rick Tocchet has now taken matter into his hands and sent a twelve year NHL veteran to the gallery.
Tyler Myers will be scratched tonight in favor of Ethan Bear. Myers' play was terrible in Arizona and Tocchet decided to send a message to his team. Myers is a seasoned NHL veteran whose taken part in nothing less than 904 NHL games.
Myers currently carries a $6M AAV on the cap, hopefully, the guys on the ice get the message that no job is guaranteed.
Tocchet also sent Kravstov to the stands in favor of Jack Studnicka, Aidan McDonough will have to wait a little longer before he gets his opportunity to prove his worth.
