Many are beginning to speculate whether or not Silovs is ready for the full-time backup job in Vancouver behind Thatcher Demko or if he would be better suited as the starting netminder in Abbotsford. No matter what happens this Fall, the Canucks are extremely lucky to have Silovs in their organization.
While fans debate where Silovs will play next season, the 22-year-old is enjoying his offseason and in recent days, had an interesting encounter with a fan while in Hamburg, Germany.
In an post made on his Instagram account, it shows that Silovs autographed a fan's buttock and posing for a picture, while laughing, with that fan.
It's always pretty cool to see interactions between players and fans and in this case it looks like everyone involved made it a pretty hilarious moment that they'll remember for a long time.
That's gotta be a first for #Canucks Artūrs ilovs. ✍️😂
