The World Junior Championship is now well under way in both Moncton and Halifax. After a surprising loss to Czechia in their first game, Canada's picked it up quite nicely and it's mostly been Connor Bedard's affair.

The North Vancouver product is the youngest Canadian to take part in the event and it looks like he is on another planet. They've played three games so far and Bedard already has 14 points, that's seven more than team canada's number two in points, Logan Stankoven.

Yesterday against Germany he showed once more why he'll be the first player to take the stage at the 2023 NHL Draft. Not only did he fill the net once again, but he did it in fashion. Have a look at that wicked shot :

Bedard has been lighting it up just as much in the WHL this season with the Regina Pats, where he has 27 goals and 64 points in only 24 games. Even after missing multiples games, Bedard still leads the league in points.

The one thing that remains, will he continue to dominate the game once he graduates to the next level?
