TRADE ALERT | Kraken acquire a defenseman from San Jose
The Seattle Kraken had been rumored to be on the market for a defender and it looks like they've found their match.
They've acquired Jaycob Megna from the San Jose Sharks in return for a 2023 4th Round Pick.
Megna was 27th on the DailyFaceoff's Trade Bait list. The 30-year-old appeared in 48 games this year and managed 12 points over that span. At 6'6'' and 220 pounds he'll definitely add weight on the Kraken's back end.
As the Kraken moves closer to a playoff spot. A depth addition like this one at a cheap price will definitely add some value.
