The St. Louis Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong has been very busy over the past couple of weeks, trading two of the biggest stars on the team, Vladimir Tarasenko to the Rangers, and most recently Ryan O'Reilly to the Leafs.
After trading two of their top stars, along with sitting sixth in the central division and ten points out of a playoff spot, you would think the Blues would be rebuilding?
Well not exactly. According to NHL News Updates, the Blues are reportedly interested in acquiring pending UFA Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane.
The Blues still have alot of top-end talent and won the Stanley Cup back in 2019. The Blues seem they want to be more of a retool then rebuild, so adding Kane for next season could be a good move. Especially to show fans they are still looking to win now.
