TheScore writer reveals what the price for Boeser is
Brock Boeser has been involved in many transaction rumors since it's been announced that his agent was allowed to speak with other teams.
John Matisz from TheScore revealed earlier today that if the Canucks planned on dumping Brock Boeser's salary without obtaining a player, they should consider anything as low as a 2nd or 3rd round pick as a good offer.
Doesn't that feel a little on the down side? Boeser is only 25, even though he commands a $6.625M AAV, he's still averaging 0.8 points per game since entering the NHL. The right-winger has proven to be a good shot, the fit with Boudreau may not be optimal, he may return to being a point per game player if plays under someone else.
For comparison, William Nylander also averages 0.8 points per game since he entered the league, carries a $6.92M and I'm fairly certain that if the Maple Leafs were to move him, they'd expect a lot more.
