Things are heating up in the NCAA-market and the Canucks are linked to four intriguing name
We're approaching this time of year when the collegiate season ends and teams try to pursue the highest-ranked NCAA Free-Agents. The Canucks have lots of holes to fill in their rosters and they could be playing big in this market.
The Canucks already have Aidan McDonough in their sights since they hold his rights, but Chris Faber from Canucks army linked the 4 most intriguing NCAA Prospects to aim for:
Right-handed shot defenseman, built for today's fast-paced game, and a BC Native. He'll be turning 24 in about a month and has managed 34 points in 37 games so far, good for second in his team.
A 6'3'' and 207 pounds left-handed shot, a Swedish-born defender. He currently stands number two within his team for points with an impressive 22 assists, and 23 points in 36 games.
Currently plays on the same team as Livingstone, though he plays on the left side. He's a well-rounded 6'0'' and 170 pounds defenseman.
Currently captaining the Cornell University team, known to be a good skater with decent puck-moving abilities. He'd probably be fit for almost any team in the NHL.
Without a doubt, Malinski and Livingstone are real targets for the Canucks since they'd definitely fill a hole in the lineup. The Canucks have added Hronek recently, it's no secret now that they're looking to move
Tyler Myers, and with the uncertainty on
Ethan Bear's future, since the extension talks have stalled, there may be a spot on the team's top four.
If you were GM, you would be your target?
