WATCH | Noah Juulsen lays a massive hit and Radek Faksa throws himself at him

The Canucks are hosting the Stars tonight and the home team took control of the ice quite fast with two goals in the first 20.

Even though the Canucks have played a great period of hockey, a play has been retaining lots of attention. Luke Glendening received a puck center ice and Noah Juulsen closed the gap quite nicely with his shoulder. The play kept going and Radek Faksa went on to try and drop the gloves on Juulsen.

The NHL has been discussing the matter in their most recent meetings. The obligation to drop the gloves after a legitimate hit. This sequence sure is a perfect example, Juulsen lays a beautiful hit, Faksa then runs at him to drop the gloves. The referees eventually made the right call assessing an extra two minutes for instigating on Faksa. Here's the sequence:

In their work to diminish the number of fights, this surely is one that needs to go. A player should not have to drop the gloves after a legal hit. Do you think calling on the instigator penalty on a more constant basis will have the wanted effect?
