WATCH: Prospect Elias Pettersson's first goal in the SHL
It was announced yesterday that young defenceman Elias Pettersson made Sweden's WJC U20 roster.
He's been playing mostly in the SHL since the season started and the more we advance into the season, the better he's getting. Confidence development for the youngster is heading in the right direction. See his first goal:
The left-handed defenceman had only 1 assist in 22 games so far this season, but his responsabilities have increased quite a bit in the last few games and he's even seeing ice time on the power play.
It'll be quite intriguing to see the Canucks' top defensive prospect at the World Juniors in 3 weeks.
