WATCH | Tocchet absolutely rips into the team after a 4-3 loss to the Rangers
The Canucks played in the renowned Madison Square Garden last night and suffered a second straight loss only by a goal.
Rick Tocchet was available to the media after the loss and made no mistake in pointing out what had been the issue in this one. In his post-game media availability, he kept referring to the value plays.
To his observation, there were up to 5 guys that just played badly tonight and he listed Andrei Kuzmenko as one of them. During the game, Brock Boeser even took some shifts with the team's top line, while Kuzmenko only had one shift in the last 12 minutes of the game.
Tocchet has now started to implement his systems and culture on the team and with his recent interviews, you can be sure that they know whenever there's something wrong. After 5 games, the Canucks new head coach presents a 2-2-1 record, how do you grade his work?
