LATEST | J.T. Miller takes the heat following the Canucks' loss
The Canucks weren't able to rise to the occasion when the Capitals came for a visit. The team only scored once and the Capitals came through with two goals that eventually earned them the win.
Following the team's second loss in a row, players weren't fighting each other for an opportunity to meet the media, but J.T. Miller took it upon himself to take the heat. Not only did he take the mic and faced the media, but he also took accountability for his mistakes and took the blame for the way the handled themselves and how they lacked to respond:
"We need to find a way to rise to the occasion better than we did in a game like today.»
J.T. Miller speaks to the media post-game.
Both J.T. and the Canucks will look to stop the trend and get back to winning on Tuesday, when they'll hosting the Buffalo Sabres.
