The Vancouver Canucks have done the necessary move and delivered one final message to the former Vancouver Canucks star J.T. Miller after he was trading to the New York rangers due to the highly publicized rift with teammate Elias Pettersson.
Ever since J.T. Miller was traded away from the Vancouver Canucks, t
there have been many subtle shots and messages sent by both parties, indicating that the drama might no be over just yet.
But today, the actions of the Vancouver Canucks and Rogers Arena sent the final message to Miller.
Vancouver Canucks and Rogers Arena remove all banners with J.T. Miller
It really marked an end of an era today as fans and media noticed that there were crew outside of Rogers arena today quietly removing all banners and photos with former Canuck star J.T. Miller.
As one of the biggest stars on the team and carrying the assistant captain "A" on his jersey, Miller was in loads of photos, murals, banners and videos that were completely covering the entire arena.
They mostly replaced him with newcomer Jake DeBrusk and also
Conor Garland, who now has his own gate at gate 3, where a Miller's banner hung prominently beside one featuring captain
Quinn Hughes.
Although he made a major impact on the city of Vancouver and the Canucks, Miller's time has come and gone and it is time for a new era of Canucks hockey, and there is no better way then to promote the teams biggest (current) stars.
