LATEST | Tyler Myers calls out the officiating following the loss to the Jets
The Canucks weren't able to keep up with Mark Scheifele, who participated in all four Jets' goals during the Canucks 4-2 loss. Overall, the Canucks had a good outing, but their lack of offensive productivity eventually had the best of them. The Canucks' goals came from Myers and Juulsen (his first goal as a Canuck).
The officiating was true to itself with various questionable calls, and they impacted the game's outcome. The Canucks' veteran Myers was utterly outraged with their lack of consistency from one call to another and made sure everybody knew how he felt during the post-game interviews:
Tyler Myers held court in the scrum and said it felt like the Canucks were facing two teams on the night (officials and Jets) The Canucks had a solid test with another top Western division team th,e Jets. They'll return on Monday for a meeting with the Minnesota Wild and an opportunity to redeem themselves.
