The way things are trending and the way things have gone thus far this season, Patrik Allvin will be aggressive when comes the trade deadline. It had already been revealed that the Canucks were hoping to add another top six talent and perhaps another Defenseman.

Obviously, when you are looking to add valuable pieces, you have to be ready to part ways with valuable assets. Patrik Allvin has made it known that amongst their prospect pool, two pieces had been deemed untouchable.

Following their performances at the world juniors, Jonathan Lekkerimaki and Tom Willander have been identified as the team's untouchables. Which also means that Elias Pettersson (D-Pettey), Arshdeep Bains, Aatu Raty and the 2024 1st Round Pick among others could be used as baits to bring in an impact NHL player.

"If the team decides to go big, then the Canucks' 2024 first-round pick and some of their top prospects but, based on our sense of the matter, probably not World Junior Championship MVP Jonathan Lekkerimäki and Tom Willander would have to in play"

It will be interesting to see how Allvin plays his cards moving from there. The Canucks now occupy the Western Conference's second rank and they could really use secondary scoring. Perhaps another Defenseman to replace Tyler Myers?
