LATEST | Three teams have already stepped up on the Nikita Zadorov derby
Nikita Zadorov looks like he'll be on his way out of Calgary, but he may be staying in the Pacific Division.
According to several insiders, most recently TSN's Darren Dreger, Vancouver is among the teams showing the most interest in the big, physical D.
Tor, Van, and NJD are the clubs with strong interest in Zadorov,
Dreger tweeted on Saturday.
The Flames are in no hurry to sell assets. If a team steps up in a big way, everything has to be considered. I'm not sensing urgency from Cgy.
While Dreger says there's no urgency to make moves in Calgary, Zadorov's agent Dan Milstein has done his part in fanning the flames, insinuating that Zadorov is unhappy with his ice time on the struggling team.
Zadorov would bolster the Canucks' blueline, but at a cap hit of $3.75 million, a player like Anthony Beauvillier or Conor Garland would have to be part of the package leaving Vancouver.
