TRADE ALERT | Patrik Allvin announces blockbuster deal with the Flames: The details are in
Jim Rutherford teased on Overdrive earlier that the Canucks could strike a deal before the All-Star Break kicked in and he wasn't joking.
The formal announcement just came through, Patrik Allvin struck a blockbuster deal a few weeks prior to the trade deadline and brought in the Flames star centerman Elias Lindholm.
This is great asset management by the Canucks. Lindholm should be an impact player straight away in all sphere of the Canucks game. Kuzmenko has only been a shadow of what he was last year.
At the end of the day, the Canucks did get the best player all around.
