With Lindholm, the Canucks can now count four all-stars among their top six, and everything indicates that Nils Hoglander has found a niche on his fellow Swede's side. The one debate that's been believed to be discussed amongst the Canucks' upper management is whether or not they'd need to acquire another forward to play with J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser and have Pius Suter center the fourth unit.
TOP SIX WINGER EMERGES ON THE TRADE BLOCK?
A recent report from the Bleacher Report suggested that the Bruins would be on the lookout to trade the pending unrestricted free agent and left winger Jake Debrusk out to a contender, preferably in the Western Conference.
Debrusk, 27, has been out of touch with his game for the last little while and through the last few years, there's been lots of disgruntling from both parties. The Bruins are currently low on assets, and Debrusk is an asset that could help them improve. He's shown lots of potential coming off back-to-back 25 and 27 goals seasons. The report suggested that they sell Debrusk to a contender hoping to acquire picks and prospects that could help them buy assets from teams trying to trade.
INTRIGUING FIT FOR THE CANUCKS?
Debrusk would indeed be an intriguing for the Canucks. A left-handed shot winger with a knack for scoring could be the perfect replacement for Ilya Mikheyev's spot on the top six. Known to be a player who plays hard deep in the O-zone, he'd surely be interesting to the Canucks and could be an underrated complement to Miller and Boeser:
**Debrusk** - Miller - Boeser
Hoglander - Pettersson - Lindholm
Joshua - Blueger - Garland
Aman/PDG - Suter - Lafferty
To add Debrusk, it would probably mean that the Canucks would have to move on from Mikheyev. Is this a switch you'd be willing to make?
