MAJOR | NHL makes an announcement on Connor Bedard: He broke his first record
Connor Bedard's NHL career has started as advertised. The 18-year-old has burst on the scene with 3 goals and 5 points in 8 games so far this season.
On Friday, Bedard broke his first record. He was the youngest player to score goals in their first two games against the defending Stanley Cup Champions.
The Blackhawks took on the Golden Knights first on Oct 21st, Bedard opened the scoring with a beautiful shot from the high slot. The Blackhawks would lose 5-3.
On Friday, The Blackhawks rematched the Golden Knights on Oct 27th. Bedard would score a break away goal off of a beautiful feed from Foligno to tie the game 2-2 late in the first period. The Blackhawks would win the game 4-3 in Overtime.
Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks will play one more time on April 16th, giving him one more chance to continue his streak.
