He became an unrestricted free agent on July 1st and isn't in much of a rush to put pen to paper on a new deal.
According to Eklund of HockeyBuzz, Patrick Kane knows where he is going to sign and that it's going to be a contender, although the team he is going to be playing with next season isn't known as of yet.
The 34-year-old has been linked to four teams by David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, those franchises are - the Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars and the New York Islanders.
All four of those teams are looking to make deep runs in the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2024 and having a player like Patrick Kane on their roster will certainly help those chances.
Kane split last season between the Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers, who acquired him in late-February, just before the NHL's trade deadline.
In 73 games with the Blackhawks and Rangers, the Buffalo native put up 57 points (21 goals, 36 assists), 16 penalty minutes and was a minus-22.
While Kane reportedly knows where he'll be signing, but hasn't put pen to paper, which of the four teams that Pagnotta mentions would be the best fit? Let us know what you think in the poll below!
