LATEST | Sidney Crosby full of praise for the Vancouver Canucks
The Vancouver Canucks lead the way with six players at the NHL All-Star Weekend, along with head coach Rick Tocchet.
Their play this season is catching the attention of many around the league, including from Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby.
While meeting with the media on Friday, Crosby was full of praise for Tocchet, Rutherford, Allvin and what they've accomplished with the team this season. Crosby is familiar with the three from their time with the Pittsburgh Penguins organization.
"They've done a great job. I don't know if people before the year would be predicting where they'd be at, and some of the seasons the guys have had. I think that's a credit to the players obviously, but also to the people around them.
I think Jim and Tocchet have done a great job helping them and their whole staff. They're playing really well as a team and individually their players been performing well. I think a lot of people deserve credit for that." Crosby said.
It's great to see the Canucks getting attention from other players around the league, including from one of the best to ever play in the National Hockey League.
