Wild sequence on the Maple Leafs' bench: They've hit rock bottom?
As expected, the Maple Leafs are once again trailing against the Bruins. On Saturday night, Brad Marchand and his Bruins took control over the poor Leafs in their very own Scotiabank Arena.
Mainly made of superstars, or should we say super divas, the Leafs are now officially falling apart. As they trailed 3-0 in the second period, frustration took over the Leafs' bench and it gave lieu to a very particular sequence. Fortunately enough for the fans, this wild sequence was caught on camera:
Frustration has started to set in for the Maple Leafs stars 😠.
A few lip readers have revealed what came out of William Nylander's lips, and it looks like he may have told his teammate to ''Stop F*****g Crying'', here's the sequence in question:
With this loss, the Maple Leafs have now lost six straight playoff games on their home ice. Now down 3-1, their hopes of making it past the first round are standing at none if they can't figure a way to win at home.
One of the team's superstar forward, Mitch Marner, had the opportunity to speak about the tantrum that notably involved three members of their core four:
"We're not yelling at each other because we hate each other, we just all wanna be on the same page."
Mitch Marner on the frustration seen on the bench in the 2nd period on Game 4.
We'll see what the Maple Leafs do next, Auston Matthews was pulled out of game four, will he be back for game five? Will the Leafs manage or will they once again fall apart?
