The Vancouver Canucks are in their final preseason game against the Calgary Flames. The Canucks are 1-3-1 in the preseason so far.
Head coach Rick Tocchet knows there is much work to do to get his team in top form. In the five games, the Canucks have been an up-and-down team, specifically in the goal department.
In an article written by Jeff Paterson, Tocchet said
, "We've got some offence...there are some chances around the net, (we need to) get body position and put it in. Sometimes we take it for granted...but you've got to bear down."
Tocchet continued, "We've had a tough time hitting the net...we'll work on it."
The Canucks rested some of their top offensive players last game against the Oilers. The expectation is for Pettersson and Miller to be back in the line-up.
This will be the last tune-up game for the Canucks, who will look to finish off the preseason strong against the Flames. The Canucks hope to build momentum as they begin their season on the 11th against Connor McDavid and the Oilers.
