LATEST | An announcement has been made regarding the newly acquired Nikita Zadorov
The Vancouver Canucks have had a busy week on the trade market, shipping out Anthony Beauvillier to the Chicago Blackhawks and addressing their defensive needs by getting Nikita Zadorov from the Calgary Flames.
Allvin acquired Zadorov on Thursday night in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2024 and a third-round pick in 2026.
On Friday, it was announced that Zadorov will be wearing number 91 with the Vancouver Canucks as his old number, 16, is retired.
"D Nikita Zadorov will wear jersey number 91 for the Vancouver Canucks. Number last worn by Vitali Kravtsov in 2022-23. #Canucks"
So far this season, the Moscow native has appeared in 21 games with Calgary where he put up six points (one goal, five assists), 23 penalty minutes and is a minus-six.
