LATEST | Analyst drops a massive statement regarding Quinn Hughes and the Norris Trophy
TSN Analyst Craig Button joined Donnie and Dhali on today's show.
Rick Dhaliwal asks Button where he ranks Quinn Hughes as a defenseman in the NHL. Button responds by talking about his Norris ballots, in which he says
"...I will tell you where I had him (Hughes); he was number three on my ballot. So I don't think I have to say anything more...about Quinn Hughes"
The question comes after there have been questions about whether Quinn Hughes is a top-10 defenseman in the league. The Canucks captain has put up some substantial numbers in his NHL career, and it is tough to understand how Hughes is so underrated.
Button has his theory, "...The problem we have in voting is that we have too many voters that after 10 ET, they don't watch anything else going on in the NHL."
The Canucks will need Quinn Hughes to play at a Norris level as they fight for a playoff spot.
