Brock Boeser's been an emotional roller coaster over the last two years, and the winger had issues finding his scoring touch. The forward had asked for a trade out of Vancouver but rescinded his request after the season.

BOESER'S SCORING TOUCH IS BACK?

After an outstanding four-goal performance in the season opener, he scored twice in the four next games and now sits on the league's second rank in goalscoring behind only Alex DeBrincat, who's got 8 in 6 games.

Brock Boeser was interviewed after the morning skate the Canucks held earlier today, and the winger's comments clearly show what his goals are and where his mind is at:

"I'm a goal-scorer, and I need to produce for our team to help us win hockey games. It's been a good start, but I've got to keep it going."

🗣 Brock Boeser on building confidence, the importance of finishing the road trip strong, and the power play.''

The Canucks' number 6 scored 18 goals last year and now he may be on track to beat his career high of 29 he had in 62 games during his rookie season.
